Four years ago, I went through a life-shattering divorce after 10 years of marriage. As a new mom with a two-year-old, I found myself in an overwhelming situation: moving out of my family home during the pandemic, with little support, and carrying the weight of my grief.

I had to make the difficult decision to leave my neuroscience PhD program and dive into a corporate career so that I could have stability and support my son. I was stuck on autopilot, emotionally drained, and unable to enjoy motherhood. I felt lost in the aftermath of my divorce, unsure of who I was beyond the pain that I felt and the overwhelming stress of being a full-time single mom.

I found myself navigating the emotional aftermath of a messy, painful divorce where co-parenting felt impossible. But through deep personal growth, I learned how to transform my life, and my co-parenting relationship, into one of peace, harmony, and mutual respect (something I never thought would be possible 4 years ago).
